Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-10-01
Our commitment to an inclusive experience.
Our commitment
Polly's Web should work for every spood lover, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We want keeping a care journal to be something anyone can do comfortably.
What we do
- Semantic, keyboard-friendly interfaces: pages use real headings, links, buttons, and form labels, and are operable by keyboard.
- Current status information: the sign-in state of the page is communicated with roles that assistive technology recognizes.
- Contrast and legibility: we aim for readable text sizes and strong contrast across light and dark themes.
- Meaningful alternatives: images carry descriptive alternative text; icons that only decorate are hidden from assistive technology.
- Responsive design: the app works across phones, tablets, and desktops.
Known limitations
We're a small team, and accessibility work is never finished. Some richer interactions are still improving, and much of the app predates this statement. When we redesign a surface, accessibility is part of the redesign.
Feedback
If you hit a barrier anywhere on the site, please tell us at [email protected] — describe the page and what didn't work, and we will do our best to fix it quickly. Feedback directly shapes what we improve next.
